Diagnosing diseases in dogs and cats is only part of what we excel at. Once a patient has been diagnosed with a specific condition advanced and often life-saving treatments are needed. Our practice is uniquely equipped to treat the most critically ill pets.
Staffed 24/7 by a combination of veterinary specialists or emergency veterinarians and veterinary technicians, your pet is never left unattended throughout their hospitalization.
The hospital pharmacy is stocked with a variety of intravenous and oral medications immediately available for our hospitalized patients. Many different drugs are available in anticipation of our patients’ ever-changing needs. We maintain close relationships with distributors, local compounding pharmacies and even local human hospital pharmacies, which provides us immediate access to less frequently used medications.
In addition to our pharmacy, we maintain a feline and canine blood bank within the hospital. The common blood products needed for our critical patients are stocked in the blood bank and are available 24/7 should your pet need them.
Simply having access to medications and other treatments may not always be enough to help your pet. Knowing how, and especially when, to use those therapies often makes the difference. Our specialists have advanced training and extensive experience in all forms of internal medicine treatments.
