Savannah Veterinary Internal Medicine consists of board-certified specialists, experienced registered veterinary technicians (RVTs) and compassionate patient and client support staff, who take great pride in their exemplary care of all of our patients.

We are dedicated to our patients and their families, we are optimistic about every patient’s recovery, we are empathetic and share in our client’s concerns about their furry family members, and we are extraordinarily trained and experienced in veterinary internal medicine.

Caitlyn, Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

Caitlyn joined Savannah Veterinary Internal Medicine in April 2017. She graduated with her AAS in Veterinary Technology at Ogeechee Technical College in 2016 and passed her boards to quickly become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Prior to Savannah Vet, she worked as a kennel technician and worked her way up to a Veterinary Assistant before finishing college. Eager to increase her knowledge and skills, she switched from general practice to internal medicine for the challenge and advanced level of care she gets to provide to patients.

Caitlyn’s special interests in veterinary medicine are client education, hematology, and critical nursing care. Her skills, enthusiasm for internal medicine, attention to patient needs, and natural leadership qualities serve her well in her role as our lead veterinary technician. Caitlyn leads the technical staff in the practice and ensures that all patients’ needs are met.

Born and raised in Savannah, Caitlyn still lives locally with her husband, Kevin. They enjoy fishing, boating, concerts, and trying all of Savannah’s delicious cuisine. Two of their fur children are retired blood donors; Diesel (dog) and Mr. Kittens (cat). Savannah’s home is complete with two other dogs and one cat with a mixture of ducks and chickens.

Kassandra, LVT, BAS

Kassandra joined Savannah Veterinary Internal Medicine in September 2023. She graduated with her AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2012 and immediately passed her VTNE to become an LVT. Because of her love of animals Kassandra went on to receive her Baccalaureate Degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College while working in local clinics locally in southeast Georgia.
 
Kassandra is excited to bring her passion for client education, nutrition and anesthesia to Savannah Veterinary Internal Medicine. 
 
Originally from Western New York Kassandra loves to spend time outside with her boxer mix Aphrodite. She also likes to spend time indoors with her older orange tabby Butters and travel with her Weightlifting Team for powerlifting competitions.

Taylor, LVT

Taylor joined Savannah Veterinary Internal Medicine in April 2024. She graduated with her AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2016 and passed her boards to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. 
 
Taylor is originally from Indiana where she built her foundation in general practice, however, Taylor always had an interest in emergency medicine. After moving to Michigan with her husband, she worked in the ER/ICU at Michigan State University, furthering her skills and knowledge in emergency/critical care medicine. Taylor is passionate about patient care/advocacy, client education, and advancing her knowledge and skill level among veterinary medicine.
 
Taylor and her husband now call the Lowcountry home. Outside of SVIM, Taylor enjoys taking her dogs Petey and Hank to the beach, adding to her indoor plants, and cooking.

Ivie, Client Care Coordinator

Ivie has over 10 years of experience in the customer service industry before joining the SVIM. As a seasoned Client Coordinator, she takes pride and enjoyment in providing hospitality to our clients and patients.  With a knack for optimizing schedules, she keeps the tails wagging in and out of the practice.  Always providing a welcoming and resourceful environment, Ivie delights in maintaining excellent and efficient service one check in at a time. 
 
Ivie’s down time is spent putting family first. Having welcomed a son in December 2022, Ivie, her Husband, and their fur baby Moose have found themselves in a whole new adventure! She is grateful and excited to be a part of the SVIM family.

Holly, Veterinary Assistant

Holly joined Savannah Veterinary Internal Medicine in January 2024. Originally from Long Island, NY, she graduated from the University at Albany with a Bachelors in Biology.
 
Holly has previous experience with exotics and is excited to gain more experience with cats and dogs. Holly is working towards becoming a vet and plans to apply to vet school this year! In vet school, she wants to focus on zoological medicine.In her free time, 
 
Holly enjoys spending time outdoors and reading. Holly currently lives in Hinesville with her husband, 3 chinchillas, a hamster, and some tarantulas.

Megan, Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

Megan joined SVIM in May 2023 after graduating from Ogeechee Tech in Statesboro, GA with her degree in Veterinary Technology. Prior to starting school she worked as a kennel assistant and loved it so much she hasn’t left the veterinary field since. Her interests in veterinary medicine are hematology and nursing procedures. 
 
She was born and raised in Statesboro, GA and still lives nearby with her boyfriend, Gage, and three Boykin Spaniels. They enjoy spending the day at the river and fishing. Megan and Gage welcomed a happy, healthy baby daughter into their family in October 2023!
