Elycia joined the team at Savannah Veterinary Internal Medicine in January of 2021 after moving to Savannah from Madison, Wisconsin. She worked in Wisconsin as a Certified Veterinary Technician for 6 years. Before becoming a veterinary professional, Elycia taught high school English, and she remains passionate about education.
While Elycia loves all animals, she is a self-proclaimed “cat lady” and recently obtained a Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional certificate from the American Association of Feline Practitioners. She also contributes to PetVet Magazine, an industry publication. She loves working in the veterinary field and is excited to be a part of internal medicine. Her favorite aspect of her job is working with geriactric pets and helping them achieve their highest quality of life.
Elycia is happily exploring her new home in Savannah with her husband and pets. She is an avid baker, reader, and walker and really could get used to these snowless winters!
