Caitlyn joined Savannah Veterinary Internal Medicine in April of 2017. She graduated with her AAS in Veterinary Technology at Ogeechee Technical College in 2016 and passed her boards to quickly become an RVT.
Caitlyn is a current member of NAVTA and GVTAA. Prior to SVIM she worked as a kennel technician and worked her way up to a Veterinary Assistant before finishing college. Eager to increase her knowledge and skills, she switched from general practice to internal medicine for the challenge. Her favorite Interests in veterinary medicine are client education and hematology with growing knowledge and interest in critical nursing care.
Caitlyn has become very adept at all things internal medicine, and has enjoyed it so much that in October 2019 she began the two-year process of earning her VTS certification in internal medicine! We all wish her luck in this wonderful goal!
Born and raised in Savannah, Caitlyn still lives locally with her husband, Kevin. They enjoy fishing, boating, and camping in nearby state parks. They currently have fur (and feather) children- 2 dogs, 2 cats (Mr. Kittens is one of our blood donors!) and 2 chickens.
